Patent: US Pending
Description

A small MW compound found in diversity chemical library screen. Testing currently underway has selective kill against suppressed breast, bladder, pancreatic, and colon cancer cells in culture. Suppressed tumor cell kill has also been verified in tumor-bearing mouse bladder and breast models. Preliminary studies suggest that this compound may induce a form of cell death called apoptosis in suppressed cancer cells. Eight-week initial TOX studies show no overt toxicity in two different rodent models.
