Mr. Vermelis is currently the Director of Business Development for DormaTarg, Strategic Consultant for Charlesson LLC, and Grant Specialist for the Bio Science Roundtable. Mr. Vermelis began his career in the biotechnology industry after a year of consulting for both University and non-university technologies and companies within the state of Oklahoma. Before his interest in biotech, Kris Vermelis worked three years as a brand manager/ambassador for GMR marketing; where he coordinated and executed marketing campaigns for the Midwestern area of the US. During his studies at the University of Oklahoma, Mr. Vermelis was a member of the Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth where he analyzed the commercial feasibility for startup business and technologies.
